Amuru Outgoing CAO hands over to new CAO
Amuru district outgoing Chief administrative officer (CAO), Mr. Obong Thomson on Wednesday 19th July, 2023 handed over office to the new chief administrative officer, Mr. Otai Charles who comes to Amuru from his former post in Ntoroko District.
While handing over, Mr. Obong who will be moving to Lamwo district thanked all leadership including political leaders, office of the resident district commissioner and the technical team for the support rendered to support his work while in Amuru district.
He also urged staff to continue to do good work to ensure that Amuru district grows to a greater height.
The new Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Otai expressed gratitude to the district stakeholders for the warm welcome and pledged full commitment to work with the team to ensure service delivery is achieved in the district.
While welcoming the new CAO and his deputy, Mr. Opio John Bosco, LCV chairperson, Mr. Lakony Michael and Deputy resident district commissioner, Ms. Apio Joan cautioned Mr. Otai to keep watchful of individuals that may approach him for the wrong intensions.
The duo urged Mr. Otai to work with all the district stakeholders equally so that together, they can continue to achieve the district mission and vision.
