Amuru Senior Lands Mgt Officer hands over to take on a new assignment

Amuru senior lands management officer, Ms. Aber Mildred Susan has handed over the lands office to take on a new assignment at Gulu University as Lecturer.
Ms. Aber handed over office to staff surveyor, Mr. Mwaka Edmond on Friday 18th August 2023, who has been assigned duty to the new office.
While handing over the office, Ms. Aber thanked Amuru district for the opportunity given to her to grow and build her capacity while serving the district for the last 13 years.
She said that the lands office is much better than it was when she had just started work in Amuru and advised the new assigned officer Mr. Mwaka to obtain integrity and serve the community and the district with due diligence.
Amuru Deputy CAO who officiated the handover, Mr. Opio John Bosco thanked Ms. Aber for her work and dedication in Amuru district and wished her well in her new assignment.
The District Natural Resources Officer, Ms. Lanyero Doreen advised Mr. Mwaka to keep the lands office active just like her predecessor, Ms. Aber has done in the previous years.
The principle human resource officer, Ms. Akwero Betty appreciated Ms. Aber for her service saying her appointment made her to grow as an individual.
New lands and management officer, Mr. Mwaka Edmond welcomed the new responsibility and pledged full commitment to ensuring that service delivery reaches the community.
