The RDC who was addressing a team of Gulu district staff who were in Amuru on Tuesday for a learning visit said that some staff shy away from asking questions whenever they are stuck in implementing government programs and this causes failure in the program.
Mr. Okidi added that government is injecting a lot of money especially in agricultural programs and expects to see value for money.
Meanwhile, Amuru principle assistant chief administrative officer, Mr. Ojara Stephen welcomed the team and said that Amuru district is open to share their experiences of implementation of the Micro scale irrigation program.
Production officer, Mr. Komakech Simon Peter and Senior Agricultural Engineer, Mr. Kidega Richard attributed the success of implementation of the program in Amuru to team work and strict adherence to set guidelines of the program.
