Amuru District commences Tier 4 Training

Amuru district today commenced its Tier 4 training at Sub County level at four different points; including Atiak town Council, Pabbo Town Council, Lamogi Sub county & Amuru Town Council.
The District Census Officer, Patrick Rubangakene says that out of over the 800 applicants, Amuru District recruited 572 enumerators and 71 supervisors to man the census exercise from the 10th May to 19th May, 2024.
According to the District Census Officer, the training of the recruits will take up to 9 days and is expected to end on 8th may, 2024.
He encouraged the successful applicants to take the Census exercise serious for better service delivery to the community.
Meanwhile, Uganda Bureau of Statistics senior statistician, Mr. Kyewalyanga Simon who flagged off the training at the district Multipurpose hall appealed to the enumerators and supervisors to have maximum commitment and determination through out the training and during field work.
