Amuru LCV Chairman reshuffles cabinet, 2 months to end of term

Amuru district LCV chairperson, Michael Lakony on Wednesday during a full council meeting made nominations of names of Councillors to fill vacant cabinet positions.
Among the names he proposed included; Martin Akera as the vice chairperson and double as the secretary finance, planning & economic development and Lucy Adong as the secretary works and community based services.
Council unanimously approved the proposed names.
The Vice Chairperson seat fell vacant in October 2020 after the Lakony removed his then vice, John Bosco Ochan over incompetence.
LCV Lakony says that even if they are left with only 2 months to end of term, filling of the vacant positions will do much to improve service delivery where there were gaps.
Among other things, council also resolved to retain the chairperson district service commission, Mary Ayenyo for a second term in officer for her hard-work and also not to paralyze the works of the district service commission
